Coverage map (homepage)

The page shows aggregated statistics from our own IoT trackers — a single 500m × 500m cell is shown only if at least 3 different devices and at least 5 measurements have passed through it. This is k-anonymity ≥3 — from the map you cannot determine any individual's route.

The second layer (BTS stations) comes from the public UKE register and contains no personal data.

The page itself does not collect analytical cookies or identifiers.

"Check route" — GPX upload (default)

When you upload a GPX file without checking the save option:

  • The file is sent to the server, parsed in memory, and the result is returned to your browser.
  • After returning the response, the server keeps no copy of the GPX or the result.
  • We log only the IP address (for rate-limiting, max 10 uploads/hour) — in process memory, not in a file. Server restart = cleared.

"Save result publicly" (opt-in)

If you check the "Save result publicly" checkbox:

  • We save only a snapshot of the result (statistics, simplified route line ~1500 points, coloured segments). We do NOT save the original GPX file, timestamps, speed, device metadata, or author data.
  • If you entered a title or description, they are saved with the snapshot and are publicly visible under the share link (and as a preview on Facebook, Slack, etc.). Do not enter data you don't want to publish.
  • We generate 2 links for you: public (for sharing) and secret delete-token. We do NOT collect your email address.
  • The delete-token is shown only once — after closing the page it cannot be recovered. If you lose it, the result stays publicly accessible indefinitely.
  • Anyone with the delete-token can remove the saved result at any time at /sprawdz-trase/[slug]/usun?token=….

We do not share data with third parties. Records are stored on our server (Linode, Europe) in a SQLite database.
